Dreams Become Reality
The new building will have a covered entrance that is designed to
match the present Education Building. You will enter into a well
lit lobby or entrance can be from present Education Building. The
Kitchen will have it's own entrance. Quote of the Month for JuneWhen the group was meeting to talk about raising the funds needed to build the new Family Life Center, they were looking at a way to graphically keep the congregation updated on our progress. One of the things that was discussed was a cylinder that would fill with “red” as we met our goal and the other was a church that would fill with red as we met our goal. The church was chosen and not for it’s shape, but because on top of the steeple was a cross. What we are building is ministry. The exterior shape will be a building, but we are building ministry. Jesus tells us to take up our cross and follow Him, and this building is one of the ways that we will follow Christ. The new Family Life Center will be use for worship services, suppers, receiving for funerals, WELCA program, LYNC programs, Jr. LYNC programs, Men’s Group, banquets, wedding receptions, basketball games, volleyball games, Christmas programs, musical concerts, and the list goes on and on.
